Originally designed as a simple demo submission tool for songwriters, SendUsSongs.com continues to evolve to provide songwriters even greater opportunities for success! It is true that you can still submit demos online to the publishers registered at SendUsSongs; and that the cost per submission is well below the cost of one trip to the post office to submit demos the old fashioned way. And now, in addition, you can have your songs played and sold to the world at SongwriterRadio.com!

1. Start here by registering as a songwriter at SendUsSongs.com. (Note: If you
are a publisher click here to request a listing at SendUsSongs.com)

2. Upload up to 10 songs (mp3 format). It is FREE to upload songs. Don’t forget
to include lyrics! Lyrics are required for two reasons—1) if you submit to publishers,
they almost always require lyrics and, 2) we require lyrics as part of the approval
process when you request to have your song(s) played on SongwriterRadio.com.
(Note: SongwriterRadio does not play music with vulgar or offensive lyrics. If you
hear something objectionable on SongwriterRadio you may report it by clicking here.)

3. Once you have uploaded your songs you can request to have them played on
SongwriterRadio.com. It is FREE to have songs played on SongwriterRadio. The
only requirement to upload is that you are the sole copyright owner of the songs
being uploaded.  You can also request to make your songs available for purchase.
We are very flexible and allow you to list your song for sale for 3 months, 6 months,
9 months or 1 year. So, you aren’t locked in to a year-long contract if you want to
give a new song a trial run. Below is the cost breakdown to make your songs available
for download:

3 months = 3 credits
6 months = 5 credits
9 months = 7 credits
12 months = 8 credits

4. Now the important part: How you get paid!

You wrote the songs, you own the songs and, in many cases, you sang the songs;
we feel you deserve more of the profit! Songs are sold at SongwriterRadio.com
for .99 cents per single. Each time one of your songs is downloaded you earn
a full .79 cents! Tell all your fans and friends that SongwriterRadio is the
best place to go to download your music! We mail out check the first week of
each month so you should receive payments each month that you have downloads
by mid-month of the following month! You will be able to monitor your sales
directly from the Tools page at SendUsSongs.com.

(*Note: Checks are mailed when your account accumulates a minimum of $10 in net sales. Sorry for the wait, but remember we are only keeping .20 of each download and paypal takes a large portion of that. In the event that your account does not attain net sales of over $10 we will, at your request, convert the cash value of your account to Credits which can be used for downloads, demo submissions and/or listing additional songs for sale. Or, if you do not wish to exchange the amount for Universal Credits we will mail a check, at your request, in the next scheduled check run. )

No. SendUsSongs.com and SongwriterRadio.com reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to refuse or remove any material submitted at any time and for any
reason. If your material is refused or removed, any credits expended in the process
of submitting material will be reapplied to your account. That said, if your songs
does not contain vulgar or offensive language, it is highly likely that you will be
able to get your song posted at SongwriterRadio.com. We are here to help songwriters!

The songwriter who has the song with the most “listens” in a given month will be
recognized on the site as having the “Song of the Month”. A notice will also be
emailed to all registered publishers, songwriters and listeners at SendUsSongs.com
and SongwriterRadio.com.

Currently we do not have limit to the duration though, at some point we may have
to add some restrictions.

At SendUsSongs.com you can submit demos with the click of a mouse! No more postage
or trips to the post office. Publishers receive your demo almost immediately and
receive an email in their inbox saying they have received a new submission. You,
as the songwriter, have access to powerful demo management—you can see what you have
submitted and to who. You can also see when there has been activity on a song has
you have submitted. You can also be found by publishers that you have not submitted
demos to. The only requirement, to be found in a publishers demo-search, is to be
listed as “public” in your profile and have at least one credit in your account.

Publishers must be approved before being added to the list of publishers at
SendUsSongs.com. All profile information must be provided to be considered.
We must insure that publishers listed as “public” at SendUsSongs.com (meaning
that all songwriters are able to submit demos to them without prior permission)
will be responsive to demo submissions. As the first line of your profile
description include “Responds in x” number of days, weeks or months to help
songwriters know what to expect. You can request a listing by clicking here.

Publishers, at SendUsSongs.com, have powerful tools provided to manage demo
submissions online at anytime from anywhere in the world! No more stacks of
CDs to manage. Responses can be sent automatically to the songwriter after
you have listened to their demo. Submission notices appear in your email inbox!
You have full control of submissions and you have a full history of every demo
submitted and your response to it! You also have the option to require prior
permission before accepting submissions by listing yourself as “private” in your
profile.
